San Francisco Guitar Legend Dick Dale

Date: June 29

Dick Dale invented surf music in the 1950s and is considered the “King of the Surf Guitar.” Believe it or not, Dale is playing just as hard today as he always has, and he’s bringing a power and focus into the music of the new millennium.

His music has been featured in “Pulp Fiction,” as the title song. Come sway along to the catchy melodies and lyrics he’s become known for, and travel back in time to the California surf scene when it was all about sun, surf and sky…and of course, music.

Bring someone you like to dance with, laugh with, enjoy a good time with, and you’ll be up on your feet and out there doing the shag before you know it.

If you’d rather just sit back and watch, that’s fine, too. This is music just meant for mellowing out, so relax and enjoy an evening that’s sure to have you reminiscing about being younger, more innocent and full of life. Just about anyone would like to feel that way for a few hours, and here is your chance.
