It’s fun – and it’s free, so bring the family to San Francisco’s Family Festival ’05, sponsored by Mayor Gavin Newsom and the Department of Children Youth and their Families.
Enjoy the entertainment on The Main Stage. There’ll be clowns, magicians, martial artists, singers, dancers, actors and more. On the Storytime Stage, enjoy the magic as storytellers weave their yarns and young people share stories about their families.
In the Fun Zone, you’ll play run obstacle courses, skip rope and glimpse the future when you visit the fortune teller. There will also be face painting, gardening and time to join the dancing Conga line. There will be food and beverages as well as opportunities to recycle batteries, get a library card, enroll in free art classes at the DeYoung Museum and learn bike repair and safety tips (bring your bikes). Don’t miss The Info Zone, a place to learn about programs, classes, community organizations, and all the city services offered to our children, youth, and families. You’ll find information about schools, after-school programs and family fitness.
