San Francisco’s Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition shows that while the ship may have gone down, its memory lives on. This exhibition has traveled the world, with more than 16 million people viewing the collection, which includes a 30,000 pound section of the ship’s hull.
The San Francisco exhibit includes some artifacts that have not been seen before, so get ready for surprise and adventure! More than 300 artifacts are included, along with re-creations of the Grand Staircase and a first-class stateroom (which would cost more than $50,000 in today’s dollars) and much more.
You’ll hear the stories of the passengers as you tour the exhibition, and you can feel the simulated iceberg wall to feel how cold the water was that fateful night.
Our unquenchable curiosity about this massive vessel is met full-on by the traveling show, and answers your questions even as it fascinates with tantalizing details that make you want to know more. Any kid who likes big machines will enjoy this event, and you’ll like the history it includes.
