Berkeley Lawrence Hall of Science is just one of the many wonderful places waiting
to be discovered on the campus of the nearby University of California at Berkeley.
This science center dubs itself “a singular resource center for preschool through
high school science and mathematics education” but most visitors come here to experience
the hands-on public science exhibits that can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.
Ongoing exhibits include an outdoor science park, an astronomy experience, an interactive
Idea Lab, the NanoZone where visitors can learn about nanotechnology, as well as

are held daily in conjunction with the individual exhibits. There’s also a planetarium
on site, a museum store, and a café, just in case you get hungry while exploring
