Six Flags Marine World is indicative of the quality found in most Six Flags theme parks. This entertaining park in nearby Vallejo, California merges three parks into one: an Oceanarium, a wildlife park, and an exciting amusement area with thrill rides galore. Roller coaster fanatics will absolutely love it here.

Marine World is home to Medusa, the most extreme coaster in the area boasting seven inversions. If you like nail-biting experiences, you’ll also need to ride Velocity, the only spiraling impulse coaster of its kind in the world. Don’t worry. The little ones will be happy here, too. Six Flags Marine World offers Looney Toons Seaport, an area specially designed for younger visitors, where they can ride the Road Runner Express or Bounce and Pounce with Sylvester and Tweety.

Most of the shows here have a “marine” theme. Guests will be thrilled with the antics of the park’s resident dolphins, seals, and whales but don’t be surprised if you spot an elephant or tiger as well. The Animal Adventures area even lets you interact with some pretty exotic animals, like giraffes and lorikeets.
