Positioned in the Union Square neighborhood, the Hotel Nikko San Francisco stands one block from the ACT and Curran Theaters in San Francisco, Calif. Transportation by cable car and street car is two blocks from the property. The Moscone Convention Center and Museum of Modern Art are five blocks away. One half mile from this property lies the Financial District, North Beach and Chinatown areas. Hotel Features Streamlining Zen d?cor with modern ambience, the hotel's restaurant, ANZU, offers Euro Japanese foods such as the Tea Spiced Smoked Chicken Breast and the Shioyaki Salmon. Other menu offerings include prime cut steaks and a full sushi menu, served with spirits and ANZU's 50 signature Sake martinis. Razz Room, the hotel's 200 seat entertainment venue, offers nightly cabarets and jazz music. A weekday staffed business center provides full services, including computer rentals and high speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee. The 24 hour health club offers two saunas, a fitness center with cardiovascular, weight training and yoga equipment, a solarium indoor pool and a spa tub. The center features traditional Japanese Kamaburo meditation rooms and Shiatsu massages by appointment. Also on site are a gift shop, Starbucks Coffee Shop and a beauty salon. Guestrooms The Hotel Nikko San Francisco offers 532 guestrooms with floor to ceiling windows offering bay and city views. Bedding features triple sheeting, down comforters and pillowtop mattresses. Flat screen 37 or 42 inch televisions depending on room type, CD players and iPod docking stations are included. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Bathrooms offer massaging showerheads, plasma televisions and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Expert Tip The cable cars are a very popular mode of transportation in San Francisco. When the cable cars are crowded, guests of the hotel can hop on the F Line Street Car that runs to Fisherman's Wharf. Both the cable car turnaround and the F Line Street Car are conveniently located within two blocks of the hotel. Renovation Notice: The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to its guestrooms.
