Location: 2065 Kittredge St., Berkeley

Habitot Children’s Museum is located in Berkeley, California, just a few blocks from the campus of UC Berkeley. Designed especially for children ages 0 to 6, this unique museum has, in the past decade, become one of the most popular museums in the Bay area.

The museum’s founders were dedicated to creating a hands-on play and learning center that provided a safe setting in which little ones could explore arts and culture, so exhibits are just the right size for small hands and bodies, but even adults will have fun exploring along with their children.

The Habitot Children’s Museum finds a number of ways to allow children to explore the world around them, not only through permanent exhibits, but also with the help of many special programs including multicultural performances and events as well as a hands-on art studio. Kids can even join classes that tout early foreign language skills or can work with other children in learning to cook unique foods from different lands.
