Randall
Museum San Francisco
Location: 199 Museum Way, San Francisco
The Randall Museum offers a unique haven where children
and adults can explore the creative aspects of art and science and make discoveries
about nature and the environment by direct participation in classes, workshops,
special events, and clubs. The Randall Museum houses changing science, art and interactive
exhibits.
Permanent areas of the Museum are a live animal exhibit,
woodshop, arts and ceramics studios, theatre, darkroom, lapidary workshop, greenhouse,
and gardens. The Randall is different from other museums and hands-on discovery
centers in that it attempts to provide a vehicle for personal experiences rather
than a fixed destination.
