The Florence Gould Theater at the Legion of Honor is a 320-seat jewel box of a theater with wonderful acoustics. Built in 1924 and originally called the Little Theater, it is the premier small venue in San Francisco for chamber music. The theater had hosted performances in the past by such notable artists as the Budapest String Quartet, the Juilliard String Quartet, the Borodin Quartet, Walter Trampler, Philippe Entremont and the young Yo-Yo Ma.
