The Eureka Theater is an old jewel that came back to life with the recent remodeling. Originally founded in l972, Eureka was the springboard for Tony Kushner's "Angels in America" as well as introducing local audiences to David Mamet, Dario Fo, Caryl Churchill, Anna Deavere Smith and others before closing due to financial difficulties. With the renovation finally complete, the theater crowd has ecstatically embraced it again.
